The clinic's implant schedule
Implants take two trips: the implants first, the permanent teeth months later, once the implants have healed. This is the clinic's usual schedule; your dentist confirms yours after the exam and CT scan.
First trip
About 9 days in Ho Chi Minh City: the implants go in and you fly home with temporary fixed teeth.
- Day 1
Consultation, X-rays & exam
X-rays, intraoral photos and an exam with the dentist; your treatment plan is confirmed.
- Day 2
Implant surgery
Any extractions needed, then the implant surgery, which takes 2–5 hours. You leave with medicine for after surgery; the clinic says its driver takes you back to your hotel.
Soft food for the next few days.
- Day 3
Digital scan & impressions
A digital scan and impressions for your temporary teeth.
- Day 5
Temporary teeth try-in
You try in the temporary teeth before they are finished.
- Day 7
Temporary fixed teeth fitted
Your temporary fixed teeth are fitted. Soft foods from here.
- Day 8
Final check
A final check on day 8 or 9; the clinic says its driver then takes you to the airport.
Second trip, 3–6 months later
About 9 days, once the implants have healed: your permanent teeth are made and fitted.

Impressions for your permanent teeth
Second visit, 3–6 months after the first: impressions for your permanent zirconia teeth.

Permanent teeth try-in
You try in the permanent teeth before they are finished.
- Day 8
Bite adjustment & permanent teeth fitted
On day 8 or 9 of the second visit your bite is adjusted and the permanent teeth (bridge) are fitted.
