What we collect when you use Tripora, why we need it, who sees it, and how you stay in control. Last updated 2 November 2026.
Who we are
Tripora (tripora.com.vn) coordinates dental trips to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: we put you in touch with the partner clinic you choose and arrange transfers, meals and tours with local partners. Tripora is not a clinic and does not treat you. We are responsible for the details you send us through this website. For anything about your data, email info@tripora.com.vn or message us on WhatsApp +84987654321.
What we collect
Apart from the site-use details described under Cookies below, we only collect what you send us through the forms on this site:
- Contact details: your name, email address, WhatsApp number and the country you fly from.
- Your dental concerns: the issues you tick, the treatment or package you are interested in, photos of your teeth or a quote from home if you add them, and anything you choose to tell us about your health, such as allergies or medication.
- Trip details: your travel dates, number of travellers and children's age bands, the services you choose, pickup details and any message you write.
- Payment records: you pay Tripora nothing; you pay the clinic and travel providers directly. If you paid a deposit before November 2026, we keep the amount, date and reference of that payment. We never see your card details.
- An itinerary you email to yourself: the email address you type in "Email me this itinerary", kept with the link to that itinerary. We send it once; trip ideas only if you tick the box for them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
- Site use: the page that first brought you here and the campaign or partner link you came from, and, only if analytics are allowed, how you use the site (see Cookies below).
Why we use it
- So the partner clinic can review your case: a dentist at the clinic looks at your photos and notes and prepares a treatment plan and quote.
- To plan and run your trip: dates, transfers, meals and tours, and our messages to you about the trip and your after-care check-ins.
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as payment records.
- To understand which pages and channels help travellers (Google Analytics and the first-visit cookie), only as described under Cookies below.
Your consent. Our forms have a tick box. By ticking it you agree that we collect what you send and pass it to the partner clinic and, where needed, to local partners as described below. Your photos and health details are used only with that consent. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us; that does not undo what was already done, but we stop using your details from then on.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who receives it
- The partner clinic you choose in Ho Chi Minh City receives your contact details, photos, dental concerns, health notes and travel dates, so its dentists can review your case and treat you.
- Travel providers (transfers, tours, restaurants): you book them yourself on their sites, so they receive what you give them there. If we ever arrange a service with a local provider for you, it receives only what it needs to run its part: your name, WhatsApp number, number of travellers and children's age bands, pickup point, and the services and times booked. We send it through a booking link or a message app such as Zalo. They never receive your photos or dental details; at most a practical note such as “soft food only” after treatment.
- Service providers that store or send data for us:
- Lotics, the booking system where we keep requests, photos, plans and bookings;
- Resend, which sends our emails, including the email our team gets about each request;
- Telegram, where our team gets a short alert about each new request: your name, contact details and case code only, never your dental concerns, notes or photos;
- Netlify, which hosts this website;
- Google Analytics, only when analytics are allowed.
- WhatsApp and Trip.com, only when you choose to use them: if you message us on WhatsApp, or click through to book flights or hotels on Trip.com, they handle your data under their own privacy policies.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Medical records
The records the clinic makes when it examines and treats you (X-rays, scans, clinical notes, the treatment it carries out) are the clinic's medical records, kept by the clinic under its own responsibility and the rules that apply to it. We see the treatment plan and quote the clinic sends through us, so we can coordinate your trip, but we do not keep or manage your clinical file. To get a copy of those records, ask the clinic; we are happy to pass your request on.
Where your data is handled
Your trip takes place in Vietnam, so your request is handled there by our team, the clinic and the providers you book. Some of our service providers process data in other countries, including the United States. We send your details abroad only as needed to arrange the trip you asked for, and rely on our providers' data processing terms to protect them.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them for your trip and its after-care, and any longer only where the law requires us to keep a record, such as payment records. When you ask us to delete your details, we do, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the details we hold about you;
- correct details that are wrong or incomplete;
- delete your details;
- stop or limit using them;
- withdraw the consent you gave on our form.
To do any of these, email info@tripora.com.vn or message us on WhatsApp +84987654321. Tell us the email or WhatsApp number you used so we can find your request.
Tripora is based in Vietnam, so Vietnam's law on personal data protection applies to how we handle your data. The privacy law of the country you live in may also apply, for example in the UK, the EU, Australia or New Zealand, and may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies and storage
- Strictly necessary: your saved trip, cart and request details are kept in your browser's local storage so the planner works between visits;
tp_consentremembers your cookie choice for 180 days. These are always on. - First visit (
tp_ft): a first-party cookie that remembers how you first found us (campaign tags, partner code, landing page, referring site) for 90 days, so a partner who referred you is credited. - Page versions (
tp_ab): a first-party cookie holding only a random number, for up to 180 days, so we can compare two versions of a page and keep the one that works better. - Google Analytics: cookies such as
_gathat measure visits and which steps travellers reach.
In the UK, the EU/EEA and Switzerland, and wherever we cannot tell your region, the first-visit and page-version cookies and Google Analytics run only after you choose Accept analytics. Elsewhere they run unless you choose Only essential. You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
