The prices for dental implants in Vietnam are set by the clinic's price list, and you can see them, implant by implant, on our current price list. What you pay at our partner clinic in Ho Chi Minh City depends on three things: the implant brand you choose, the crown that sits on top of it, and whether you need a bone graft first. The dentist reviews your photos or scan before you book, and the final plan and price are confirmed at your in-person exam.
This guide explains what an implant price covers, why two quotes can differ, and how many visits and nights the treatment takes.
What does the price of a dental implant in Vietnam include?
The implant price on our list is for the implant post, priced per implant, and the crown is quoted separately. That is how the clinic prices it, and it is the first thing to check when you compare quotes from different countries: some quotes include the crown, some do not.
An implant replaces a missing tooth in parts:
- The implant post, placed in the jaw during surgery. This is the part the price list prices per implant.
- The abutment, which connects the post to the tooth on top.
- The crown, the visible tooth. It is quoted separately once the dentist has seen your case.
If the dentist finds there is not enough bone to hold the implant, a bone graft may be needed first. It is added to your plan only if your case needs it, and you see it in writing before you agree.
For how implants work and who they suit, read the patient information from public health services such as healthdirect Australia or the NHS, and ask your own dentist.
Why do implant prices differ between clinics and brands?
The biggest difference is the implant system. Our partner clinic offers several brands, from Korean systems to Swiss and Swedish ones, and each has its own price and its own warranty from the clinic. The price list shows them side by side, so you can compare before you talk to anyone.

Other things change the total, not the price of each part:
- How many implants you need. The list prices one implant; two or three implants mean two or three times the post price, plus their crowns.
- Bone grafting, only if your scan shows it is needed.
- Full-arch work. Replacing a whole arch on implants is planned case by case, so it has no fixed price on the list. Send photos or a scan and the dentist quotes it.
What does not change it: Tripora. The price you pay is the clinic's price list, and we add nothing on top. There is no markup on treatment prices.
How many visits and nights does an implant take?
A single implant in Ho Chi Minh City is planned as a series of appointments over one stay, and the price list shows how many nights each implant option needs. The appointments follow the clinic's protocol:
- Consultation, CT scan and surgical plan.
- Implant surgery.
- A review after the surgery to check healing and medication.
- Removal of the stitches and a healing scan.
- Fitting of the abutment and a temporary crown.
Between appointments you rest. That is the point of a trip planned around the treatment: your hotel, transfers and quiet days are arranged so that the clinic days come first. You can see example trips on our trip plans page.
The dentist confirms at your exam how and when your permanent crown is fitted, as this depends on how your implant heals. Ask about it before you agree to the plan, so you know whether a second visit is part of your treatment.

When is the final price confirmed?
The final price is confirmed at your in-person exam, once the dentist has examined you and your scan. Before that, you get a written plan and estimate from your photos.

This is how it works with Tripora:
- You send photos or a scan first. The dentist reviews your photos before you book your flights.
- You receive a written plan and quote. It lists the treatment, the implant brand and anything else your case needs.
- You pay only our coordination fee in advance. It holds your booking and is refundable in full within 7 days. The rest of the treatment is paid to the clinic directly, at its own pace.
- No surprises at the chair. Nothing is added at the chair beyond what you have confirmed in writing.
How it works explains each step, and you can send your photos whenever you are ready.
Is an implant trip worth it?
It depends on how much work you need. For one small job, the flights and the days away may cost more than you save, so it is worth doing the sums for your own case. For several implants, or an implant combined with other work, the difference is usually larger. Our savings page puts our partner clinic's prices next to typical prices in Australia for the same work, so you can judge for yourself.
Whatever you decide, keep your own dentist in the loop: tell them about your plan before you go, and book a check-up after you come home.
